Michigan Cancels “The Game” Between Ohio State Due To COVID-19 Outbreak On Team

Michigan canceled it’s annual rivalry game against Ohio State earlier today because of a COVID-19 outbreak within the team’s facility.

“The number of positive tests has continued to trend in an upward direction over the last seven days,” Michigan AD Warde Manuel stated.

The canceled game likely spares Harbaugh and the Michigan program another embarrassing defeat against their rival who were over 30 point favorites heading into Saturday’s matchup.

Jim Harbaugh is currently 0-5 against Ohio State while coaching at Michigan.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have already missed two games this season due to COVID-19 outbreaks and missing a third game would disqualify them from the Big Ten Championship Game because of their failure to play 6 games.

Reports have stated Ohio State is currently working on scheduling a sixth game on short notice.
