The details are still developing, but here is what the media has reported so far. As usual, be careful with anything the mainstream media tells you.

“Shots fired at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis. It sounded like an exchange of gunfire with around 10 shots,” Garrett Teney with Fox News said, according to Heavy.com.

Teney said his team had “evacuated the area and aren’t in a position to see more right now.”

“Minneapolis Police confirm one person was taken to the hospital after a shooting at George Floyd Square,” reporter Andrew Havranek said.

“Witnesses on scene say they heard upwards of 30 shots. The gunfire came from the east of the square on 38th street. It’s believed to be gang related,” the Wisconsin-based journalist said.

“The suspected shooter was last seen driving away from the scene, according to police. No other details, including a motive for the shooting or the identity of the victim, were immediately available,” NBC News reported.
