WATCH: Governor Tate Reeves and CNN’s Jake Tapper Spar Over 2020 Election Results

CNN’s anchor Jake Tapper pressed Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves (R) on Sunday during CNN’s State of the Union with Jake Tapper on a number of issues including the 2020 Election.

Jake Tapper needlessly asked Governor Tate Reeves, “Do you accept that Joe Biden is the legitimate lawfully accepted, lawfully elected, President of the United States?”

While Governor Reeves was responding to Tapper’s loaded question the CNN host then proceeded to interrupt Reeves saying, “I do not hear you saying he (Biden) was legitimately elected.”

The heated exchange between Tapper and Governor Reeves is shared below:

The roughly nine minute interview between Reeves and Tapper covered a variety of topics including COVID-19, mask mandates, the winter storms and the effects on Mississippi, the COVID relief package, and the 2020 election results.

Reeves made headlines last week when the governor announced plans to end Mississippi’s mask mandate and allow businesses to go back to 100% capacity.

Do you believe Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves was correct to push back on CNN’s Jake Tapper? Do you support Governor Reeves’ decision to end Mississippi’s mask mandate? Comment your thoughts below!
