Washington Post scraps presidential fact-checking database, blames Biden errors on “his staff”

The left-wing publication said it doesn’t have the time to run a fact-checking database on the U.S. president, ending the project as Biden comes into office.

For four years, the Washington Post ran a database of fact-checks of President Trump’s claims. This database of course empowered “journalists” to push the false narrative that Trump was always lying.

Now that someone more aligned with the Post’s big government agenda is in office, the newspaper just doesn’t have the time to fact-check the White House anymore to the same degree.

“In a tweet thread Monday, fact-check editor Glenn Kessler announced that while he and his team will continue to ‘rigorously fact-check Biden, they will no longer maintain a database like they did under Trump,” The Blaze reported.

“Biden's relatively limited number of falsehoods is a function, at least in part,” Kessler said, “of the fact that his public appearances consist mostly of prepared texts vetted by his staff.”

“He devotes little time to social media, in contrast to his Twitter-obsessed predecessor, and rarely faces reporters or speaks off the cuff,” the left-wing “journalist” said.
