VICTORY: Biden withdraws far left ATF nominee over anti-gun blowback

President Biden had picked a gun control advocate to head the ATF and implement his anti-gun ownership agenda.

Far-left anti-gun activists are likely disappointed after gun control advocate David Chipman was withdrawn as a nominee to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearm.

Chipman allegedly lost his gun while working as an agent for the ATF, but that’s just one reason he was a terrible choice. “Republicans cited Chipman's record, saying that in October 2018 he argued in favor of subjecting all AR-15s and potentially all semi-automatic rifles to regulation under the National Firearms Act,” Fox News previously reported.

“Donald Trump Jr. has been among the strongest and most consistent voices against Chipman throughout the nomination/confirmation process,” Breitbart noted.

“The NRA and National Shooting Sports Foundation have also fought long and hard against Chipman’s nomination/confirmation, as have Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and others,” Breitbart said.

Do you think the ATF should be abolished? Do you think Donald Trump, Jr. was right to sink the nomination? Share your thoughts below!
