Transgender Woman Crowned Miss Silver State USA

Kataluna Enriquez, a biological male or a “transgender female,” will now compete for Miss Nevada USA, the state pageant leading to Miss USA and Miss Universe.

Enriquez has competed in several pageants before being crowned Miss Silver State USA.

The pageants Kataluna Enriquez will now attempt to compete in, Miss USA and Miss Universe, were previously owned by Donald J Trump.

“Miss Silver State was a great experience … to me it was honestly a celebration of womanhood and diversity and this celebration of being your true self,” Enriquez told FOX5.

Enriquez said she was scared at first to enter but she had no issues at the preliminary pageant that was hosted in Las Vegas.
