Poll: 63 Percent Of Republicans Want Creation Of New Party

According to a poll released by Gallup earlier this month, 63 percent of Republicans want the creation of a third party and the majority of these Republicans want it to be more aligned with Trump’s policies.

While the majority of Republicans want the party to be more Trump-aligned, 34 percent want the Republican party to remain the same and 24 percent want it to become more moderate.

The poll also found that 62 percent of voters believe that both major parties are doing a poor job of representing the American people. This number is up 5 percent from November.

70 percent of independents want the creation of a new party while only 46 percent of Democrats want the same.

The Republican support for a third party shot up more than 20 percent since September.
