Renowned Pollster Predicts Trump Would Destroy Biden if Election Held Today
The prediction is further bad news for Biden as he grapples with failures in Afghanistan, economic problems and backlash over vaccine mandates.
A well-known pollster said on Sunday that President Trump would handily defeat President Joe Biden if the election was held today.
“And you’ve got 55% to 37% that they’re worried about the future of America while Biden is president. That’s a huge number,” John McLaughlin said on Sunday, according to Newsmax.
“The pollster added that Americans by a 61% to 33% margin believe Biden is trying to get Congress to spend too much money on his infrastructure and social spending bills,” Newsmax reported.
“It would be an electoral landslide. He would beat either Biden or Harris. He’s ahead of Harris 49 to 46 in the poll,” McLaughlin said.
President Trump has yet to announce if he will run, though people close to him have repeatedly said he is likely to run again in 2024.
