Ranking GOP ‘Plan to Vigorously Investigate’ Afghanistan Withdrawal, Demand Admin ‘Preserve all Records’

The Congressmen will investigate what went wrong -- and what they find could harm Biden’s 2024 chances.

The failed withdrawal of Afghanistan and the decisions behind it may soon be out in the open, thanks to a trio of Congressional Republicans who want to learn what happened.

“The ongoing chaos in Afghanistan profoundly concerns the American people,” a letter from Mike Rogers, Michael McCaul and Devin Nunes said.

“The horrifying scenes on the ground and the resulting erosion of America’s worldwide geostrategic position raise troubling questions about your administration’s ability to competently manage a major foreign crisis,” the Congressmen said.

They said they plan to wait until the evacuation is finished, but pledged, “House Republicans plan to vigorously investigate your administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.”

The investigation could cause problems for President Biden and Vice President Harris heading into 2024. It’s likely that the pair ignored intelligence warnings and rushed through to get out troops and other Americans.

The pair has utterly failed to keep our Americans safe -- and will soon have to face the truth.

Do you think the Senate should also open an investigation? Do you think Biden will eventually resign? Let us know below!
