Pro-Trump Pennsylvania candidate posts massive fundraising haul in just two weeks
Former Trump administration official Jim Bognet has attracted attention from donors in just the first two weeks since he announced his run for Congress.
“A former Trump official, who fell short of winning a House seat in 2020 after 10,000 write-in votes suddenly appeared, is showing with his new campaign that the fortune of Republicans is turning bright,” the Washington Examiner reported.
“Jim Bognet, former senior vice president at the Export-Import Bank of the United States, told Secrets he raised $200,000 in the first two weeks of his second campaign in Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District,” the news site said.
He is expected to take on Democratic Congressman Matt Cartwright.
