President Trump Says Dave Portnoy & Clay Travis Should Moderate 2024 Debate
Donald Trump told radio show host Hugh Hewitt that he thinks Dave Portnoy and Clay Travis would make great moderators for the presidential debate in 2024.
Dave Portnoy is the Founder & President of Barstool Sports, Clay Travis Founded the media company Outkick. They have a strong working relationship in the sports media arena.
Hewitt: “You used to be interviewed by people like David Portnoy and Clay Travis. I am curious, when the Republicans do their debates for 2024, should they use people like Portnoy and Travis and me and people who aren’t part of the regular gang that gets to do these debates?”
Trump: “You’d be great. And Clay would be great. Portnoy would be great. You shouldn’t use a Chris Wallace. He’s terrible. He was terrible. He had no control of the debate.”
President Trump told host Hugh Hewitt he would be a great moderator before bringing up Portnoy & Travis as potential 2024 debate moderators.
Clay Travis appeared on The Dave Portnoy Show with Eddie & Co. earlier this year, the two brought up a prior discussion of Barstool Sports acquiring Outkick. Travis later on sold Outkick to Fox.
