Speaker Pelosi Denounces ‘Cowardly Group of Republicans’ who Voted for Acquittal

Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) denounced the 43 GOP Senators who voted in favor of acquittal on Saturday after the Senate’s vote calling them a, “cowardly group of Republicans” while also blaming Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for refusing to take up the Impeachment Article while President Trump was still in office.

The embattled Speaker put all the blame on others while repeatedly touching her mask and delivering her lackluster speech.

Reuters tweeted out the video footage, it is embedded below:

President Trump was acquitted by the Senate, however seven Republicans voted to convict him, making it the most bipartisan vote in the modern history of presidential impeachments.

This is now the second time President Trump has defeated Speaker Pelosi’s attempts to convict President Trump. The former President is eligible to run for future office.
