Senator Paul Blasts Rep Swalwell: He “Ought To Just Resign From Congress”

Senator Rand Paul has called for Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) to resign after details emerged showing relations between Swalwell and Chinese spy, Christene Fang.

The Senator blasted Swalwell during a Fox News interview stating, “this is the guy that was hurling stones and accusations, all kinds of false accusations at President Trump. ‘Oh, he is controlled by spies’ and this and that. He was the most over the top critic of President Trump on Russia collusion, and it turns out he is sleeping with a Chinese spy. I mean, my goodness, the hypocrisy.”

Fang reportedly met Congressman Swalwell in 2012, and helped place an intern in the Congressman’s office while also raising funds for him.

Swalwell’s office has refused to release the details of their relationship. This proves to be yet another embarrassment for Rep Swalwell and could potentially have him viewed a national security risk.

The FBI does not have any reason to believe Swalwell passed on classified information.
