Mike Lindell announces that My Pillow is suing Dominion for $1.6 billion
MyPillow CEO and Trump supporter, Mike Lindell, said his company MyPillow is suing Dominion for $1.6 billion.
Dominion had previously filed a $1.3 billion lawsuit against Lindell over his controversial voter-fraud claims against the company.
Now in a strange turn of events, MyPillow is suing Dominion Voting Systems for $1.6 billion, according to Mike Lindell as of Monday.
The lawsuit appears to be a counter move to the Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit that was filed in February.
Lindell made the announcement on a livestream on his new social media site, Frank.
Lindell stated that the lawsuit was all about, “the first amendment rights and free speech.”
The Wall Street Journal stated that the lawsuit attempts to make a distinction between My Pillow and Lindell, alleging the CEO was speaking on his own behalf about potential election fraud claims.
Mike Lindell is a Republican donor and his company My Pillow employs thousands of Americans in the United State, primarily his home state of Minnesota. Lindell is also a friend of Donald J Trump, the extremely popular 45th President.
Alan Dershowitz is Mike Lindell’s lawyer for the impending lawsuit made against Dominion. Dershowitz said he’s been, “defending the first amendment for 60 years” and that he has no intentions of stopping now.
Dominion has sued Lindell, Powell, Giuliani, Fox News, and others so far.
