Marjorie Taylor Greene Challenges AOC to Debate on Green New Deal

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted her challenge to the Democratic Socialist Representative from New York on Wednesday.

Greene challenged Alexandra Ocasio Cortez to defend the economic policy included in the so-called “Green New Deal” in a pay-per-view debate hosted by a news outlet with the proceeds benefiting charitable causes.

Greene has consistently made headlines since entering Congress, being the target of incessant attacks from her fellow members of Congress, both Republicans and Democrats, and the mainstream media.

Despite the barrage of establishment criticism, she raised an eye-catching $3.2 million for her re-election campaign for the first quarter of 2021.

The massive fundraising haul far outpaces anti-Trump Rep. Adam Kinzinger’s still impressive $2.2 million dollar report for the same time period. Though Kinzinger’s total is split between his own campaign’s re-election fund and his anti-Trump “Country First” political action committee.

Kinzinger has pledged to work to remove Representative Green and other pro-Trump representatives in the 2022 Republican primaries.

Do you think AOC will accept Majorie Taylor Greene’s challenge? Who do you think would win? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
