Joe Biden Planning Prime Time Address for COVID-19 Shutdown Anniversary
The Biden Administration announced on Monday that President Biden will deliver a prime time address this Thursday to ‘commemorate’ the one-year anniversary of the COVID-19 shutdowns.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated that, “The president will look forward to highlighting the role that Americans will play in beating the virus and moving the country toward getting back to normal.”
This will also be Biden’s first prime time address to the American people since becoming president.
The Jewish Voice tweeted out video footage of Psaki’s announcement, it is shared below:
Biden’s speech will come while the majority of states across the country still remain under lockdown or with COVID-19 restrictions in place.
