Fully vaccinated Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot will continue to wear a mask

For no apparent reason, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said she will continue to wear a mask, despite being fully vaccinated.

“I’m going to continue to wear a mask in public,” Lori Lightfoot, the mayor of Chicago, told MSNBC recently.

She said that she wears a mask for unvaccinated people -- but vaccinated people, like Lightfoot, do not spread COVID, according to all available research.

Furthermore, Chicago, like many cities, has had free vaccines available for months now.

Anyone who would like a vaccine has had plenty of opportunities to get one, including assistance with transportation for those who cannot drive or do not own a car.

She said she needs to get “clarification” more from the CDC to figure out what the agency meant when it said vaccinated people do not need to generally wear masks.

As mayor, Lightfoot has overseen a decimation of Chicago’s economy, and her harmful lockdowns and the state’s lockdowns led to business closures.

Meanwhile, crime is rampant as the city falls apart under her leadership.

Do you think Lightfoot should stop wearing a mask? Should she apologize for how poorly the economy is doing in Chicago? Share your thoughts below!
