Dr. Fauci writes book about telling the truth, and being a good leader
Fauci’s failure to lead and tell the truth will not stop him from writing a book about how good he is at leadership, honesty.
Humble is not a word that one thinks of when the name “Anthony Fauci” is uttered. As director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, Fauci has fashioned himself as a hero and a genius.
In reality, he has been caught lying about masks, not telling the truth about research he funded in China and in general failing to admit when he has made a mistake.
But National Geographic will soon be publishing a book from Fauci, called “Expect the Unexpected: Ten Lessons on Truth, Service, and the Way Forward.”
“In his own words, world-renowned infectious disease specialist Anthony Fauci shares the lessons that have shaped his life philosophy, offering an intimate view of one of the world's greatest medical minds as well as universal advice to live by,” the description reads.
He continued to wear a mask despite being fully vaccinated, before backtracking after being thoroughly embarrassed by U.S. Senator Rand Paul, who actually treats patients regularly, unlike Dr. Fauci.
“Those looking to live a more compassionate and purposeful life will find inspiration in his unique perspective on leadership, expecting the unexpected, and finding joy in difficult times,” the description says.
“Sure to strike a chord with readers, the inspiring words of wisdom in this book are centered around life lessons compiled from hours of interviews, offering a concrete path to a bright and hopeful future,” the description says.
