Update: 1,900+ Dems have switched to GOP in battleground state Nevada since September
The recent registration numbers released in Nevada, a battleground state, could be hinting towards a future electoral disaster in 2022 and 2024 for the Democrats if these trends continue.
Democratic voters in Nevada are switching to join the Republican Party at a higher rate than in the other direction.
“More than two and a half times as many Democrats have switched their voter registrations to Republicans as vice-versa during the last three months, a statistic with ominous portents for Democratic candidates,” the Nevada Independent reported.
Since September: 1,912 Democrats joined the Republican Party according to the latest Secretary of State data from Nevada while just 736 Republicans became Democrats. This represents a nearly 1,200 voter gain for the GOP during that time span.
In addition, during the same timespan 3,555 registered voters in Nevada switched from Democrat to non-partisan.
Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany detailed recent polling released that may be alluding to future electoral issues for the Democrats in a Fox News segment (below).
Due to the recent struggles from the Democrats in power, Republicans were able to win on all levels in Virginia during the 2021 election with Glenn Youngkin leading the charge. Republicans also showed gains in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
