Democrat Ohio Judge Mandating COVID Vaccination as Condition of Probation

The policy is likely illegal, but the ACLU appears to be letting it happen.

A leftist judge wants to force people on probation to take a vaccine jab.

“A Franklin County judge admits to WSYX that he’s mandating COVID-19 vaccinations as conditions of probation in his courtroom,” Local 12 reported. “Now, some offenders affected are speaking out to say it’s not right.”

“Out of 20 sentencings Judge [Richard] Frye conducted last week, three included requirements to get the vaccination within 30 days and provide proof to the probation department,” Local 12 said.

“I feel like it is an overstep especially when he asked me if I’d get it and I said I really don’t want to get it,” one person said.

However, the American Civil Liberties Union, which in theory would be opposed to the government forcing a needle into someone’s arm, said they’re just looking at the issue but had no further comment.

‘“At a minimum, it appears to be problematic,” Gary Daniels, an ACLU lobbyist said.
