Chase Bank backtracks on discrimination against Donald Trump Jr after pushback

The Missouri state treasurer said Chase would be cut off from state business if it refused to serve conservatives.

WePay, a payment processing platform owned by Chase Bank, initially refused to help a conservative group that was hosting Donald Trump, Jr.

But the mega-bank, which received billions of dollars in taxpayer bailouts, backed down after Missouri’s treasurer said he would prohibit the company from getting business from the state.

“After further review, we determined that this organization didn’t violate the terms of service, and we are reaching out to the client to discuss reinstating the account,” Chase said according to Fox Business. The “review” of course came after the company could have lost major business with the state.

Do you think Chase needs to be sued for discrimination? Do you think we should end all taxpayer subsidies to banks? Let us know below!
