Biden Administration Will Move 3,000 Teenage Migrant Boys Into Dallas Convention Center
The Biden Administration is increasingly losing a grip on the immigration crisis at the Southern Border, as evidenced by a recent surge in illegal immigrants.
President Joe Biden continues to botch the handling of the problem of illegal immigration.
“The U.S. government plans to house up to 3,000 immigrant teenagers at a convention center in downtown Dallas,” the Associated Press recently reported. This comes as the administration “struggles to find space for a surge of migrant children at the border who have strained the immigration system just two months into the Biden administration,”
A handful of border security experts have previously warned that Biden’s policies, which include stopping funding for a wall on the southern border and encouraging asylum seekers to come to the United States, would lead to chaos at the border.
Now, those warnings have begun to come true as the White House fails to adequately address a surge in illegal immigrants who are coming here because they have heard that the current administration will let them stay.
“This is a self-inflicted crisis,” Stephen Miller, a Trump advisor, told the Wall Street Journal in February, about the White House’s failure to stop illegal immigrant crossings.
The crisis has drawn recent criticism from Congressional leaders.
“President Biden halted construction of the border wall and refuses to enforce immigration laws,” Republican Texas Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne tweeted recently. “Sorry @SpeakerPelosi, the southern border crisis wasn’t inherited — it was created.”
“President Trump fought against illegal immigration his entire tenure as president. Joe Biden revoked the Trump policies that were set in place to secure our border,” Republican Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz said recently.
“This is Biden's crisis,” Gaetz said.
