Biden admin begs Taliban not to attack American embassy
After 20 years of occupation and a prolonged withdrawal, the Taliban has rapidly regained territory across Afghanistan.
President Joe Biden has botched another decision, this time, it’s the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan.
While people hold different views on if we should have withdrawn from the Middle Eastern country twenty years after starting a war there, it’s clear that Biden should have had a clear plan on how to get our troops out of there.
Instead, his generals and foreign policy experts have utterly botched the safe removal of our brave men and women, leading to the embarrassing situation of us having to plead with Islamic terrorists, the Taliban, to not murder our citizens.
“The Biden administration is negotiating with the Taliban in a scramble to prevent the US Embassy in Kabul from being attacked following rapid gains by the militant group amid the US pullout from Afghanistan, according to a report,” the New York Post said.
“Five current and former officials reportedly described a tense and worried atmosphere inside the embassy, with some invoking the 1975 fall of Saigon that ended the Vietnam War and the humiliating helicopter evacuation of Americans from the roof of the US Embassy there,” the website reported.
While President Trump also wanted to get out of Afghanistan, it’s more likely he would have created a quality plan to ensure the safe withdrawal of our troops.
Now terrorists have established control and may soon rule Afghanistan again.
