AG Merrick Garland Says Biden Budget Proposal Includes $85 Million Increase to Probe Domestic Terrorism Cases

Attorney General Merrick Garland and Biden Administration are asking for millions of dollars for left-wing causes as part of a multi-billion dollar budget request.

Left-wing activists have succeeded in pushing the administration to fight for so-called “environmental justice.”

While traditionally the Department of Justice focused on arresting corrupt politicians or stopping violent federal crimes, leftists want the DOJ to also pursue a social justice warrior agenda.

AG Merrick Garland “promised the DOJ would step up its work on environmental justice, asserting that ‘communities of color, low-income communities, and tribal communities often suffer the most harm from environmental crimes and pollution,’” Breitbart reported.

“Attorney General Merrick Garland told House lawmakers Tuesday that the Biden Administration’s 2022 budget request for the Department of Justice (DOJ) would seek an $85 million increase from last year’s budget for domestic terrorism investigations and cases,” Kristina Wong also reported.

Meanwhile, Garland has been relatively silent on the violent threat from terrorist groups like Antifa, which have burned down federal buildings in Portland, Oregon.
