WATCH: Antifa Sets Portland ICE Building On Fire
Antifa rioters in Portland, Oregon reportedly set a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland Oregon on fire Saturday night according to reporter Andy Ngo.
Reporter Andy Ngo tweeted that the ICE buildings were set on fire while officers remained inside the building. Ngo also claimed Antifa obscured the security cameras before launching the “arson attack.”
“Burn the precinct to the ground,” Antifa members shouted while the fire continued to burn outside the ICE building.
Ngo reported that, “officers were trapped inside when Antifa set the building on fire.”
Another video taken from above and shared by Ngo shows the size of the fire as ICE officers respond from their back exit of the facility.
Ngo tweeted that Antifa, “barricaded the front of the Portland @ICEgov facility with a chain link fence before setting it on fire” in what he described as a “terrorist attack.”
The Antifa “protest” ended with federal agents shooting pepper balls to disperse rioters, according to reports.
It’s not clear if anyone was injured or arrested as a result of the rioting or arson.
Grace Morgan, an independent journalist in Portland shared photos of the events. Morgan tweeted that members of the crowd were chanting, “This is what community looks like!”
