NYC Pride parade BANS law enforcement
LGBTQ activists want tolerance for their lifestyle choices, but refuse to extend respect to police officers.
“Organizers of New York City’s Pride events said Saturday they are banning police and other law enforcement from marching in their huge annual parade until at least 2025,” the Associated Press reported.
The LGBT parade “will also seek to keep on-duty officers a block away from the celebration of LGBTQ people and history.”
“Word of the ban came out Friday when the Gay Officers Action League said in a release it was disheartened by the decision,” the AP reported.
Former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell, who is gay, blasted the decision in a tweet.
“The Gay Left has announced they will ban cops from the NYC Pride Parade,” Grenell said.
“The gay right, however, will honor police officers for their courage and service,” the Trump administration official said.
