Biden is about to surrender to Iran on nuclear weapons, national security expert warns
An expert in national security and defense issues warned that Biden is going to let Iran have nuclear weapons and walk all over the United States at an upcoming summit.
The Obama-Biden White House once created a misnamed “treaty” with Iran that basically allowed the Islamic theocracy to develop nuclear weapons that could obliterate the United States and key allies like Israel.
A national security expert said that President Biden is likely to soon make the same mistake, reversing progress made under President Trump to halt Iranian aggression.
“I fear Biden and his foreign policy team are too obsessed with scoring a farcical victory of the U.S. rejoining Obama’s nuclear deal and will refuse to listen to reason,” Fred Fleitz wrote in a recent essay for Fox News.
Fleitz is the president of the Center for Security Policy and worked in the Trump administration on national security issues. He has also worked for the CIA, State Department and on intelligence issues for Congress and the Defense Intelligence Agency. In other words, he knows his stuff.
Fleitz warned that an upcoming summit in Vienna could lead to Iranian leaders steamrolling the weak and ineffective Biden into letting the Islamic country have nuclear weapons.
“Biden officials previously said they would require Iran to come into compliance with the nuclear deal before America would rejoin it and drop U.S. sanctions,” Fleitz said. “But the Biden administration’s precondition only meant Iran’s overt violations since 2019, and not other Iranian cheating or agreeing to fix the deal’s flaws.”
“Iranian leaders rejected this precondition and insisted that Iran will not reverse its overt violations of the agreement unless the U.S. first lifts all sanctions,” the national security expert pointed out in his essay.
Other political leaders have taken note.
“The Jerusalem Post reported on Monday that senior Israeli officials are very troubled by a recent statement by U.S. Special Envoy for Iran Robert Malley that the U.S. goal at the Vienna meetings is to return to nuclear deal without calling to strengthen it,” Fleitz said.
Under the Trump Administration, foreign policy officials worked with Middle Eastern countries to strengthen alliances with countries such as Israel. Iran felt isolated, and economic sanctions threatened their country’s economy.
But now, President Biden is rushing to throw away all that progress. While he targets patriotic Americans in Georgia for wanting to protect election integrity, he is okay with an Islamic theocratic state-sponsor of terrorism having a nuclear weapon. Does that make any sense?
