LeBron James’ Space Jam Movie Gets ROTTEN Reviews
While Space Jam: A New Legacy starring LeBron James made $32 million in its opening weekend, it received very negative reviews overall.
Rotten Tomato movie critic Dan Murrell called it, “A wannabe subversive movie that forgot the subversion. It wants to be a commentary on corporate cynicism but is an example of it.”
The movie received impressively low reviews on Rotten Tomatoes with a 31% approval score.
LeBron’s Space Jam didn’t fair much better with IMDb who scored the movie with a 4.3/10.
Metacritic gave the sequel a 36% score bringing the consensus score to a sobering reality.
Even the left-wing publication Page-Six called the movie an “abomination.”
Many blasted the movie as being nothing more than an advertisement for Nike, LeBron James, and China. Conservatives on social media cheered on the movie’s failing reviews and continued to blast the basketball player of falling short of Michael Jordan’s legacy.
