'Marvel' Director James Gunn Calls Ted Cruz A 'Traitor' To His Country

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn attacked Senator Ted Cruz over Twitter on Sunday and called him a vulgar name while implying that Cruz is a traitor to his country for objecting to the certification of the electoral college votes.

“Okay yeah cool, I like Doritos too, but what about the part where you incited an insurrection by spreading lies you knew were lies & that you’re a traitor to your country, @tedcruz, you freakish frog-chlamydia hybrid?” tweeted Gunn.

Gunn has been an outspoken critic of the Republican party and has attacked other lawmakers over the years such as Lindsey Graham.

Gunn landed in hot water a couple years back after he was exposed for pedophelic fantasy tweets that he had made. At the time, Senator Cruz said that Gunn should be prosecuted if the intent behind these tweets were real.

Gunn joins the long list of celebrities who have viciously attacked Senators who objected to the electoral college certification.
