Chris Cuomo accused of sexual harassing ex-boss Shelley Ross
The far-left CNN host provided public relations advice to his brother Andrew Cuomo, while now reports have surfaced showing he faced his own sexual harassment charges.
Left-wing CNN host Chris Cuomo is facing sexual harassment accusations.
The New York Post reported:
A former ABC executive producer has accused Chris Cuomo of sexually harassing her at a 2005 work party after he grabbed her butt in front of her husband and co-workers — and he later called it a ‘hearty greeting.’
“I was at the party with my husband, who sat behind me on an ottoman sipping his Diet Coke as I spoke with work friends. When Mr. Cuomo entered the Upper West Side bar, he walked toward me and greeted me with a strong bear hug while lowering one hand to firmly grab and squeeze the cheek of my buttock,” Shelley Ross said.
Ross detailed the allegations in a New York Times op-ed. The accusations cause further problems for the disgraced Cuomo family, already grappling with Andrew’s complicity in the deaths of thousands of old people as well as sexual harassment charges.
Cuomo had sent Ross an email soon after the groping incident to apologize.
“I have no grudge against Mr. Cuomo; I’m not looking for him to lose his job. Rather, this is an opportunity for him and his employer to show what accountability can look like in the MeToo era,” Ross said.
