CBS’ “Kennedy Center Honors” featuring Bette Midler Sees MASSIVE Ratings Crash
CBS’ broadcast of the annual Kennedy Center Honors saw its ratings collapse to a new low for the show this year (excluding last years delayed pandemic show).
Bette Midler, who recently attacked West Virginians as “poor, illiterate, and strung out,” was one of the people being honored this year by the Kennedy Center Honors. The ceremony also honored Lorne Michaels, the longtime producer of NBC’s failing and no longer funny Saturday Night Live, which has become a mouthpiece for the political left.
However, it appears not many Americans were interested in watching Midler or any of the liberal Hollywood stars be honored at the Kennedy Center Honors.
“The Kennedy Center Honors’ 4.1 million viewers represents an improvement from last year’s ceremony, which was delayed due to the pandemic. But it fell well short its last pre-pandemic outing of 7 million, according to a report from TV Line,” Breitbart reported.
Billy Porter tweeted about paying “tribute” to the “divine” Midler — completely tone deaf to the devise rhetoric spewed by Midler on a daily basis.
The poor ratings and nasty tweets didn’t stop Joe Biden from heaping praise on Midler during the program, “I am such an unadulterated fan. Bette is a true American treasure,” the failing President said.
Liberal Hollywood continues to look down on Americans who don’t live in New York City or Los Angeles. Now their ratings are suffering partly because of it.
