ABC, CBS, & NBC Ignore Andrew Cuomo Sexual Harassment Story on Evening Broadcasts
The three major networks in the United States: ABC, CBS, and NBC all decided to not air any coverage of the sexual harassment claims made against NY Governor Andrew Cuomo during their evening programs Wednesday.
According to the transcripts all three network’s night time programs made no mention of the struggling Governor Cuomo.
The embattled Governor is currently facing calls for his resignation from members within his own party because of his office’s alleged mishandling of COVID-19 nursing home data.
On Wednesday one of Cuomo’s former advisor’s, Lindsey Boylan, alleged in an essay published on Medium that Cuomo suggested they play “strip poker” during a plane ride.
Cuomo’s office has denied all claims made by Boylan calling them, “simply false.”
CNN, Chris Cuomo’s network, made zero mention of the allegations on its air just hours after Boylan came forward with her claims, according to transcripts.
Chris Cuomo has managed to avoid covering his brother in a negative light throughout the entirety of the pandemic. In the initial phases of COVID-19, the Cuomo brothers would regularly be featured together for long form interviews.
Recently CNN has played cover for the failing Governor by not running negative stories surrounding his administration and personal reputation.
The Cuomo administration is allegedly under investigation by the FBI after accusations surfaced about officials who were allegedly covering up the real number of COVID nursing home deaths.
