Twitter to Pay Over $800 Million to Settle Lawsuit Alleging They Misled Investors

Twitter bills itself as a supporter of human rights and decency, but its recent legal troubles tell a different story.

Jack Dorsey and his Big Tech company Twitter, which has banned President Donald Trump from Twitter, should focus on straightening out its own house before trying to regulate free speech.

Twitter disclosed a binding agreement to settle a class-action lawsuit, under which the social network will pay $809.5 million to resolve claims it provided misleading user-engagement info to investors,” The Verge reported.

Dorsey and other executives are accused of hiding evidence (i.e. lying) about the growth of Twitter. While Twitter said it is going to conduct “fact-checks” of accounts (i.e. conservatives) it cannot even tell the truth itself!

The news is likely to increase calls for great oversight and transparency into Twitter’s operations.

Do you think Jack Dorsey needs to testify in front of Congress? Do you think Big Tech silences conservatives? Let us know below!
