Facebook changes course after locking account of conservative children’s book publisher

The big tech company that is often criticized for their fact checking practices and censorship of conservatives, is now reversing course after a conservative children’s book publisher had their advertising account ‘permanently’ locked.

Another day, another “error” by Facebook. The powerful big tech company apologized for permanently locking the ad account of Heroes of Liberty, a conservative children’s book publishing company.

Fox Business reported:

Facebook originally said that Heroes of Liberty – which has published books about Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett, former President Ronald Reagan and author Thomas Sowell – violated the company's rules against "Low Quality or Disruptive Content." Facebook originally locked the ads account on Dec. 23, and after Heroes of Liberty appealed the ruling, the company permanently disabled the account.

Bethany Mandel of Heroes of Liberty interviewed with The Post Millennial about the ban:

Mandel told Fox Business when they reached out about the suspension that they don’t consider themselves a political book publisher.

"We are not in politics, we are in the business of creating beautiful stories about great people that will entertain children and give them life lessons," she said. "To cancel children's books because they celebrate American values that 90% of Americans believe in isn’t even anti-conservative bias, it's anti-American. Pure madness."

“Heroes of Liberty aims to produce high-quality children's books promoting American values. The publisher opened shop on Nov. 9 and officially launched on Nov. 14. Back in July, it began investing resources to build a brand on Facebook,” Fox Business reported. Its topics include economist Thomas Sowell and former President Ronald Reagan.

Facebook has used the claim that they acted in error on numerous occasions when confronted by the media about their most questionable acts of censorship.

Do you think Facebook needs to be audited by Jim Jordan over its censorship policies? Should the big tech company be broken up? Let us know your thoughts below!
