Florida legislation would require National Anthem at pro games

The legislation would apply to sports teams that take taxpayer dollars — and then turn around and support Black Lives Matter and a leftist social agenda.

A Florida Republican has proposed legislation that would require sports teams that live on the taxpayer dole at least respect our great country and play the National Anthem.

The legislation, HB 499, says, “a governmental entity may not enter into an agreement with a professional sports team that requires a financial commitment by the state or a governmental entity unless the agreement includes … written verification that the professional sports team will play the United States national anthem at the beginning of each team sporting event held at the team’s home venue or other facility controlled by the team for the event.”

Most sports stadiums are built with taxpayer dollars taken from hard-working Americans. Many of those teams then take that money and disrespect our country and flags by promoting Black Lives Matter and other Communist, unpatriotic causes.

Do you agree with this legislation? Do we need this done in every state? Let us know below!
