The admission comes two months after Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) called out Fauci for needlessly parading around in two masks even after he was vaccinated “for show.”
Dr. Fauci appeared on Good Morning America to finally admit what Senator Rand Paul, and most Americans, already knew.
"I didn’t want to look like I was giving mixed signals but being a fully vaccinated person, the chances of my getting infected in an indoor setting is extremely low,” Fauci said.
In the viral exchange from March 2021, Senator Paul repeatedly grilled Fauci on the necessity of mask-wearing post-vaccination. Paul said to Fauci, “You’ve already been vaccinated and you parade around in two masks for show.”
