WATCH: Chuck Schumer Says “Donald John Trump Incited the Erection”
In what appeared to be a slip of the tongue, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) declared on Friday morning that US Senators would have to decide if, “Donald John Trump incited the erection.”
Senator Schumer would correct himself then accusing the former President of inciting the “insurrection” on January 6th.

Conservative commentators and pundits instantly jumped on the error calling it a “Freudian slip” which is defined as being an, “unintentional error regarded as revealing subconscious feelings.”
The word “Freudian” even began to trend on Twitter Friday morning after the embarrassing slip up. Some of the most popular reactions are shared below.
