Ohio school board drops mask mandate after Senate candidate Josh Mandel pushes back

An Ohio school board dropped its mask mandate after Senate candidate Josh Mandel spoke out against it during a recent meeting.

Some Ohio students will no longer have to wear masks, which can harbor bacteria and impede breathing, after Senate candidate Josh Mandel spoke out against the mandates.

“Beginning [November 1] for Lakota Local Schools, masks will be strongly recommended but not required for all K-12 students and staff, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will still be required for preschool and on school buses,” WLWT.com reported.

“A few weeks ago, Mandel was escorted out of a Lakota School Board meeting after speaking out against mask mandates, Critical Race Theory, and gender ideology being pushed in schools,” Breitbart reported.
