Leftist protesters swarm Republicans during press conference on January 6th prisoners

American citizens charged in the Capitol riot are being mistreated, some Republicans claim.

Far-left protesters swarmed Republican Representatives include Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene during a press conference today.

“On Tuesday afternoon, Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz joined other members of the Republican Party in protest over the treatment of those arrested and held following the January 6 riot,” the Post Millennial reported.

“The group had set up outside the Department of Justice, and were peacefully giving speeches when counter-protestors surrounded them,” the right-leaning website reported.

The protesters appear to be upset at the Republicans for drawing attention to the decrepit and cruel conditions that normal Americans who trespassed or committed other minor crimes at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
