GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz Threatens To Seize Nancy Pelosi’s Phone Records

As part of the Democrats’ January 6 commission, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has asked for law enforcement to seize the phone records of conservative lawmakers such as Matt Gaetz.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has asked federal law enforcement to seize Congressman Matt Gaetz’ phone records, ostensibly as part of the work of the January 6 Commission. It’s a move she may soon regret, if Republicans take back the U.S. House in 2022.

“Nancy Pelosi better be careful what she wishes for because if the new tradition when one party gains power in the House of Representatives is that you investigate the personal records and the personal lives of the people who are out of power, well then 2022 and 2023 are going to be very difficult years for the Democrats,” Gaetz said recently, according to the Conservative Brief.

“Maybe we ought to look at Nancy Pelosi’s phone records with her husband, who benefited millions of dollars off of stock trades and technology bills that were moving through the legislative process,” Gaetz said further.

Her husband’s stock purchases have raised ethical questions. For example, Paul Pelosi bought stock in Microsoft just a few days before the U.S. Army awarded the tech company a lucrative contract.

Do you think the IRS and SEC should launch an investigation into Paul Pelosi’ stock purchases? Do you think Gaetz is being targeted? Let us know your thoughts below!
