Failing Press Secretary Jen Psaki to ‘Circle Back’ to Different Job, Will Leave Post in 2022
The Press Secretary has faced criticism for pushing falsehoods on behalf of the Biden administration.
Press Secretary Jen Psaki will step down in 2022, according to media reports.
“White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced Thursday that she plans on leaving her current role within a year,” the Daily Caller reported.
“I think it’s going to be time for somebody else to have this job in a year from now or about a year from now,” Psaki told Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod.
Psaki has faced regular criticism for a number of bizarre statements as well as ethical issues.
For example, she claimed that President Biden’s statements on immigration do not represent the administration.
She recently claimed that the out of control surge of illegal immigration was actually Trump’s fault.
Her pro-abortion sister was also hired to a health policy role, despite the Biden team’s promise not to hire family members of administration officials.
Psaki also regularly told reporters she would “circle back” to them, claiming not to know the answers to relatively simple policy questions.
