Alleged cop killer was out on probation for robbery, other charges
A liberal criminal justice system in Cook County, IL lets criminals roam the streets, potentially committing crime after crime.
Thanks to liberal criminal justice policies, a Chicago police officer has been murdered.
Emonte Morgan is accused of murdering Chicago Police Department officer Ella French.
Crime is a regular habit of Morgan, who was strolling around the city on probation after being convicted of robbery. Several months prior, Morgan allegedly injured someone with his car and was awaiting the next steps of his trial.
One witness to Morgan’s exploits was “shocked” to find out that the criminal was allowed to roam the streets with minimal oversight.
The witness “last saw him four months earlier, driving a white van that slammed into a man in a Loop crosswalk, breaking the windshield and sending the pedestrian flying against a stop sign, never stopping until hitting a parked car nearly a mile and a half way, according to a police report,” NBC News reported.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot has lost the respect of the police force and has disappointed business owners with her authoritarian lockdowns. Meanwhile criminals can roam the city free to commit crime after crime.
